Two Tulsa-rooted opportunities to shape a community-informed path forward.

As part of an Oklahoma AmeriCorps planning year, Breakthrough Collaborative is seeking two partners to help determine whether and how a locally rooted Tulsa affiliate should advance toward a possible launch. This planning work is supported by AmeriCorps and the Oklahoma Community Service Commission through Oklahoma AmeriCorps.

Opportunity 1: Contract Tulsa Project Manager

Breakthrough seeks a highly organized, community-rooted Tulsa Project Manager to lead day-to-day local planning: coordinating the feasibility study, building trusted relationships, organizing an exploratory committee, supporting the Oklahoma AmeriCorps operating-grant application, and translating evidence into a practical path toward a possible launch.

Key Details

• Location and start: Tulsa, Oklahoma; local presence is required. Start as soon as practical following selection.
• Structure: Contract engagement during the planning year, subject to final legal and HR review.
• Compensation: $35,000–$40,000 total through May 2027; anticipated average of approximately 10–15 hours per week (approximately $54–$61 per hour).

Opportunity 2: Tulsa Feasibility Study & Partnership Development

Breakthrough Collaborative invites proposals from a consultant or firm to conduct a Tulsa-centered feasibility study and partnership-development process. The engagement will test student need, community demand, strategic fit, partner readiness, educator-pipeline potential, governance options, funding feasibility, and the operating conditions required for a sustainable Breakthrough affiliate.
The selected partner will deliver a clear proceed, proceed-with-conditions, or pause recommendation—along with prioritized partners, launch conditions, risks, owners, and a sequenced action plan.

Key Details

• Budget range: $25,000–$30,000.
• Priority expertise: education, youth development, AmeriCorps, market analysis, equitable community engagement, and Tulsa/Oklahoma.
• Selection target: September 2026; kickoff before October 2026.
• Ideal completion: January or February 2027.
• Proposal deadline: September 3, 2026
