Pam Haering’s passion for education equity began nearly two decades ago when she developed a marketing plan for the launch of a diverse, independent high school in Los Angeles. She saw first hand the transformative power of well-resourced educational environments for improving access and opportunity for underserved communities. Since that time, Pam has served as a consultant, mentor, and board member for numerous nonprofits focused on education. Most recently, she completed a master’s degree in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship at Harvard, further solidifying her commitment.

Pam’s connection to Breakthrough Collaborative is a natural extension of her belief in the power of education to strengthen communities and improve economic mobility. She is particularly drawn to Breakthrough’s expertise in supporting first-generation college student success and diversifying the teacher pipeline. As one of our newest members of the Breakthrough Board of Trustees, Pam continues to engage in Breakthrough’s work, and we are honored to have her insight and leadership as part of our team.

Our Board plays a critical role in guiding Breakthrough’s governance and providing strategic oversight, ensuring we remain accountable to the communities we serve. We are grateful for their contributions and look forward to partnering with them for even greater impact.
